It's the movie that Mr. Tan showed us on Movie Night. For those who watch this movie - 3 Idiots, FYI the main actor - Rancho, his real name is Aamir Khan, he is actually 45 years old this year and he's a father of 2 children. 

In the movie, he, Farhan and Raju portrayed the university life that they have as fun, exciting and happy. Imagine pee-ing in front of the Director's house and courting his daughter? Talking back to the director, watching your director shave his mustache everyday at 2 o'clock, stealing examination papers from director's office and worst of all it was flooding and you need to help a laboring mother to give birth to her child in the campus? How often do we do these or even occur????

Not to mentioned there were also sad moments in the movie where student committed suicide cause he was late handing in his project, another student attempted suicide because he couldn't make decision to give up his own or his best buddy opportunity to study. Almost getting kick out from Uni because befriend with the director's enemy - the smartest students in the Uni, threaten by the university's director etc etc.

All the situation mentioned above don't really happen in the real life, and think about it, how often we get to see UTAR President??? To be honest I don't even know his face...I bet he doesn't know mine too.

Yet we can also relate the situations to ourselves...

When it comes to a moment where you need to make a decision that will affect yours / friend's, what kinda decision will you make?

When you friend is in trouble, how far will you go to help him/her out? Or do you even bother to ask?

When a lecture gives you a question, do you look for answer because you want to know, or because you just wanna provide the answer, or you literally do not care at all? 

When you friend is bullied, will you do some sort of revenge for your friend?

Do you study under your parents' request/order/instruction or it is what you have wanted?

Do you tell the girl/boy that you like face to face, initiating a relationship, making the first move?

Do you think that you have the capability to do something...but you are not doing it, and when somebody did it you'll say "I can-one...I dun wanna do only-marrr"?

Need not to tell your answer, we proceed to the next topic.

Have a look at this "The Idiots Forever Cup"

The video clip above is actually a baseball competition "The Idiots Forever Cup" that the whole movie production crew involved in it. The champion of the game will be awarded "The Forever Idiot Team". and a trophy. So initially there were 4 teams: Dumbos, Stupids, Fools and  Duffers, then 2 teams won (Duffers & Stupid). They entered the finale and guess who wins? 

Well, which team that wins in the competition doesn't really matter, because the main purpose of the game (which I think) is to strengthen the team work and the bond, having fun while working, having a break even though all is tired. 

I believe that working life is always tougher than study life. When we are studying, we can skip class whenever we want, we can attend class late when we overslept, we can also sleep in the lecture class, leave early, request for ending the class earlier, etc etc. But when you begin to work, sorry, not a chance you can do that UNLESS you are the boss's son / you are the BOSS.

So since we are studying now...I think it is at best that we should skip class as often as we can study as much as we can...sleep as much as we can being punctual starting from now...and most important of all is to "having fun while doing assignments, presentations and campaign, having a break even though all is tired"

Emmm, and I think this is what Mr. Tan been wanted to tell us also, that's why he's trying to bring more activities into our study life.
